[Request] Confessions

"How long does it take your friends to come to the rescue anyway?"

"Hey, Carol and Milla are doing the best they can.  Just have faith in them"

"Have faith, huh?  I seem to remember them coming to your rescue hours after your little session with Mr. Unibrow."

"Please... don't ever bring that up again."

"Right... Sorry 'bout that."

"..."

"Why did you leave me?"

"Huh?"

"Why did you leave me to live on your own?"

"Spade, it's been years since then.  Let's just drop it."

"No.  I want to know.  Why did you have to go and stab me in the back, even after I took you under my wing?"

"B-because you scared me, that's why!"

"What, afraid of a little dirty work?  You know our gang would be involved in that sort of thing at some point."

"I just thought you meant that we'd pull off a big heist or something.  Ya' know, rob a mall, blackmail one of the kingdoms, so on.  I never thought you'd go and... do something that awful."

"Hey, I didn't want to do it either, but the pay was good and the target was a nobody.  I had to support you and Cat-Whiskers somehow."

"Couldn't there have been another way, though?  Couldn't you get the money from somewhere else?"

"I've always thought about it, but never figured something out.  When you've been an outcast from society for long enough, you don't give a damn about the rules.  If the world won't accept you, you tell it to kiss off and fend for yourself.  Real life can be cruel sometimes, but of course you know that now."

"Well... Your brother gave you another chance.  You've done so many good things for us already.  Just let go of the past and move on!  That's what I always try to do..."

"And how well has that worked out for you?"

"I... I still have some issues... but I have my friends to help me through them.  I sure if you'd just open up to us, we can help you.  Besides... I kinda want us to be... ya' know... friends again..."

"You... you really think so?"

"Sure, why not?"

"Hmmm... prove to me you can help me and then I'll consider it."

"Thank you..."

"Eh, no prob..."

"It's such a beautiful night..."

"Yeah, seems like it..."

"..."

"..."

"You wanna huddle together?  It's kinda cold out here."

"Fine, but no funny business."

"See?  You're starting to trust me already."

"Huh.  Guess so."

Well, this is a first!  I've never made a skit to go with a drawing before.  Anywho, this was a request from to draw Lilac and Spade in a situation where they're talking about the past.  I wanted the emphasis to be them, which explains the spotlight in the woods.  Kinda like a stage play!  Hopwfully those two love birds will patch things up soon
